BOE
Abbreviation for Bank of England, the UK central bank. BOE is also an abbreviation for barrels of oil equivalent which refers to the combined production or reserves of both oil and natural gas of a country, an oil and gas field or an oil company. A barrel of crude oil has the same amount of energy as about 6000 cubic feet of natural gas.
