Emerging Markets
Emerging markets or emerging market economies are a group of developing countries. The size of their economies range from the very large, such as China and India, to the small, such as Peru and Colombia. Ideas about which countries should be included in the category vary but those in the emerging market indices compiled by MSCI Indices and Standard & Poor's are widely accepted. Trading in emerging market stocks and bonds makes up an increasing proportion of the business conducted on financial markets.
