Dubai Crude
A light, sour crude oil produced in the United Arab Emirates. Its price is used as a benchmark to calculate the price of exports of sour Middle East crudes to Asia. A crude with more than 0.5 percent by weight of sulphur is a sour crude, with less than 0.5 percent sulphur it is said to be sweet. Dubai has a sulphur content of 2 percent and an API gravity of 31.
